Leave me in a historic house with a cup of tea for a day and I will be quite content. I think this is why I enjoyed the television show Downton Abbey so much. It combined a number of my favorite things: historic homes, afternoon tea, heartfelt story lines, historic fashion, family life, and British accents. While this television series isn't everyone's cup of tea (see what I did there hehe), it is one that my husband and I enjoyed watching together in our first few months of marriage. Which is why I was so thrilled to get to go to the Downton Abbey Exhibition in New York City, a museum of sorts based around the television show. Since a number of my dear friends will not be able to see this exhibit with it's location and limited engagement in NYC, and I thought I would share some of the photos we took while there, so that others can enjoy it as well. If you have a chance while in NYC, I would definitely recommend going if you're an avid Downton Abbey viewer. Here are a few of the highlights: ![]() We thoroughly enjoyed it!
